My full scene name is lunaEtoile. I wanted something that reflected who I am and yet would grow with me and also have the capacity of showing who I could become.
Luna is Spanish for the moon. I chose this first because of 2 reasons. First, I study Spanish at the university and find it a lovely language, both in spoken and written forms. Second, The moon is everchanging and yet at any one time is captivating and inviting. It enchants many a lover to gaze upon it, and the brilliance that is achieved at full moon is far more superior than any other night of the lunar month. We as humans have reached the moon and yet find it mysterious. We have walked upon the dust laiden planet, placed flags upon it, claimed it for humanity and yet find the view of the moon at night one that still controls our dreams and thoughts. For this reason I choose Luna.
luna is my outer and inner self growing and shining for one reason. To be the night\’s light for a special man. It is ironic that my Master has choosen the name Knyghtmare. I am his light out of a dark dream, and escape into the blanketed night and the glory of the universe. This is my name and the meaning it holds within me.

Mistress Nia says:
Happy holidays! Well written, luna, but I am curious what Etoile means?
Mistress Nia
lunaKM says:
Etoile is French for star.
Sexperts says:
I speak both Spanish and (a little) French, so how cool que tu lo estudias en la universidad! Hablas muy bien o solo un poco?
Anyway, I’m curious how you picked Etoile/Star?
lunaKM says:
At the time I picked my scene name I was studying both languages. Etoile just sounded pretty to me then. I don’t use it now that I have a collar.
Larila says:
I like both parts to the name, and the reason behind the name seems reason enough to keep with it. At least it isn’t like mine, I made up the name Larila and it has no meaning. I just thought it sounded pretty, and was odd enough to catch eyes. I also made up the name Aarkilona, the Aark in it stands for “Joan of ark”" the ki stands for a key to something, and lona stands for loner. The double a makes it so that the names is at the top of the list for alphabetical order, other than that no other reason for the double a.
I only know English, but I hope to one day learn another language just for recreational purposes. You’re masters name is amusing also, it reminds me of when I use to use names similar to that. I always liked names having to do with night, sky, light, sun, star, and so on. I use to use the names Skylight, I used that names to represent openness and a leading path. The light leads the way, or something cheesy like that. The names sounds nice though, too bad a lot of other people think the same. I tend to never get to use it anymore, because others are using it. The name Skylight also makes me think of a spunky cat, dunno why though.
