How about a very formal dinner table, the white linen table cloth, possibly red napkins, a fancy place setting, the candles the whole works. Have it set just for Him. Make His favorite meal. Then You serve Him dinner, kneel(sit) on the floor beside Him as He eats. Him feeding you little bits from His plate. Possibly after dinner a candle lit bubble bath where you pamper Him. Then to end the evening snuggle up feeding Him strawberries or other fruit.

I was just going to suggest that, Jewel! Formality can be verrrry romantic for couples that have gotten into that ‘we live together, we’re like roommates who hump’ rut. Candles, very important; music in the background, awesome; get the food ready before he comes home. Something rich and naughty, like steak au poivre. Chocolate for afterwards, warm red wine. Maybe you can pretend to be a sexy waitress! That would probably help with your submission training too.
There are probably guys out there who appreciate red lights or love notes, but the majority of guys I know would love the food and the sense of a special treat.
